The HIJET® 9610 is a High Velocity Oxy-Fuel (HVOF) wire spray system designed to produce dense, high-performance coatings with excellent adhesion and minimal porosity. It is ideal for wear resistance, corrosion protection, and advanced surface engineering applications in demanding industrial environments.
This HVOF coating system utilizes oxygen-fuel combustion to generate a high-velocity gas stream, which melts and accelerates metallic wires toward the substrate, forming superior coating structures.
Unlike conventional HVOF powder systems, the HIJET® 9610 uses metallic wire feedstock, offering a more economical solution while maintaining high coating quality. Its advanced gun design ensures efficient particle heating and supersonic particle velocities, resulting in coatings with enhanced durability and performance.
The HIPOJET 2750 Automatic gun incorporates an automated ignition and gas control system that eliminates the need for manual torch lighting. The system allows controlled start-up and shut-down of the combustion process, improving operational safety and convenience. With automated gas sequencing and ignition, the gun delivers a more refined and premium user experience while maintaining the same coating performance capabilities as the standard HIPOJET 2750.
The HIPOJET HY 2750 is a lightweight hybrid version of the HIPOJET 2750 gun. While maintaining the same operational compatibility with both MEC and OEM hardware, the gun body has been optimized for reduced weight and improved handling. The ergonomic design improves operator comfort and maneuverability while maintaining stable combustion characteristics and coating performance.
The HIPOJET 2700 is MEC’s indigenously developed HVOF spray gun designed to operate with fuel gases such as propane or LPG. The gun is available in both air-cooled and water-cooled configurations, allowing flexibility for different duty cycles and thermal spray applications. Engineered to deliver stable combustion and high particle velocities, the HIPOJET 2700 ensures consistent coating deposition and reliable process performance. Its robust construction and optimized internal design make it suitable for depositing dense, wear-resistant, and corrosion-resistant coatings across a wide range of industrial applications.
The HIPOJET 2750 is designed as a universal HVOF gun platform capable of operating with both MEC-developed hardware and OEM-compatible components. The gun architecture allows the use of DJ-type OEM hardware as well as MEC HIPOJET hardware, providing greater flexibility in maintenance and spare parts management. This hybrid compatibility makes the HIPOJET 2750 an adaptable solution for coating facilities working with different hardware configurations.
The MDJ series HVOF spray guns are designed to operate with different fuel gas configurations to meet varying coating process requirements. The MDJ-2700 is configured for propane-based fuel systems, while the MDJ-2600 is designed for operation with hydrogen fuel gas, enabling higher flame temperatures and specific process characteristics. Both guns provide stable combustion, efficient particle heating, and high particle velocities necessary for producing dense and well-adhered coatings. The MDJ series is suitable for demanding industrial coating applications requiring reliable performance and process flexibility.
